Kiara Amado

Kiara Amado is an Angola‑born, Boise‑based singer and songwriter whose sound is rooted in culture, rhythm, and soul. A graduate of the College of Southern Idaho (CSI) in Caldwell, she seamlessly blends Afrobeats and traditional Angolan music with contemporary influences to create an undeniable live experience.
Her passion for music and distinctive style come alive through rich, powerful vocals, high‑energy dance routines, and a captivating stage presence that draws audiences in.
Kiara is the artist behind “Kiss Slow” and has performed at Idaho Black Community Alliance Black History Month celebrations, CSI community events, and the Boise Soul Food Festival.
Currently in the studio working on her debut album, she continues to build her presence across the local music scene with artistry, authenticity, and momentum.
Christine Nygard

Christine Nygard is a Boise-based vocalist and performing artist. She performs in multiple genres, including Jazz, Pop, Funk, Acoustic Singer-Songwriter, Rock, Indie, Folk, Classical, and Choral. Her vocal ranges from soprano to alto, and she is a rhythm guitarist.
She is an active member of the Folk/Rock band AKA BELLE, her vocal/acoustic trio Avenue Eve, her jazz/funk/pop combo the Dragon Slayers, BSU Vocal Jazz, and the Girl Jazz Society. Christine is also a featured vocalist on other projects such as Mondo Pondo, jazz jams with Justin Nielsen, and with Katie Garonzik and the Half Maccs at the Sapphire Room.
Christine discovered her passion for jazz through Boise’s Gene Harris Jam Sessions and has since become a visible voice in advancing inclusive spaces for women in jazz.
She has performed across the Treasure Valley, including Treefort, Eagle Jazz/Blues Fest, Shrine Social Club, Treefort Music Hall, Sapphire Room, Sandbar, Shrine Social Club, and in Ashland, Oregon, for the Ashland Fringe Fest with Girl Jazz Society.
She is looking forward to more shows this summer across the Pacific Northwest to promote and celebrate AKA BELLE’S new album and EP, and continuing to record Avenue Eve’s EP to be released this Fall ‘26.
As a Junior at Boise State University, Christine is in the Music BA program, pursuing a Business Plus minor, Arts Entrepreneurship Minor, and a Music Production Certificate.
Ballet Folklorico Mexico Lindo

Ballet Folklórico México Lindo is a Boise‑based dance company dedicated to preserving and celebrating the rich cultural traditions of Mexico through folklórico dance.

Afrosonics

Afrosonics incorporates music from all over the world and the root of each member intermingles to create something both classic and unique. Afrosonics is a Boise-based musical collective founded in 2013 with a mission to unite diverse communities through the universal language of music.
The band features musicians from the Middle East, Europe, Africa, South America, and the United States, creating a unique, genre-blending sound that reflects their rich cultural tapestry.
Beyond their musical endeavors, Afrosonics is committed to social impact. They collaborate with organizations like Global Lounge, a nonprofit established in 2006 by band leader Dayo Ayodele, which promotes cultural diversity and supports refugees in their transition to new lives in Boise.
At the heart of Afrosonics' evolution is the intentional inclusion of New American musicians—former refugees from conflict-affected regions—alongside Idaho artists rooted in country, rock, jazz, and opera. This fusion results in a dynamic musical experience that transcends traditional genre boundaries.

DJ Caliswagkev is a California native and proud San Diego State University alum, now bringing high‑energy vibes to Boise as one of the city’s most crowd‑pleasing DJs.
Known for his electrifying sets, fun and engaging call‑outs, and infectious energy, DJ Caliswagkev keeps bodies moving with a seamless mix of new‑school and old‑school soul, R&B, and rap.
Widely recognized as Boise’s go‑to DJ for soul, rap, and R&B grooves, he has rocked both corporate and community events, including Idaho Black Community Alliance Black History Month celebrations, Impact Day, Juneteenth events, and the Boise Soul Food Festival.
