Testimonials
The Idaho Black Community Alliance (BCA) has played a pivotal role in advancing my music career by providing me with a platform to expand my reach and connect with a broader audience. I’m consistently supported by the BCA, who thoughtfully include me in community events and performances. The Soul Food Fest is a perfect example of how the BCA positively impacts the area, offering a chance to witness their influence firsthand. I’ve even had friends express an interest in volunteering after hearing about the BCA and its mission. Their programming fosters a sense of unity and purpose, encouraging others to get involved. The BCA is incredibly meaningful to me, as it has been one of the most significant ways, I’ve felt connected to the Black community in this area, and that connection is invaluable.

We feel incredibly blessed to have crossed paths with you. The support we received from you and the Idaho BCA was truly overwhelming. The way the community came together was nothing short of amazing – we get chills every time we reflect on it. The work YOU are doing in the community deserves to be recognized, celebrated, and shared as the model for what true COMMUNITY care looks like. From the depths of our hearts, thank you! The warm welcome we received from you has stayed with us, and it carried us through the entire week. We’re deeply grateful and look forward to returning soon. We also hope to see you on the East Coast!

I just want to take a moment to give a huge shoutout to the Idaho BCA! I am beyond grateful to be a part of this amazing organization. A special thank you to my mentor, Trish Walker. Your guidance and support mean more to me than words can express. You are truly an inspiration in my life, and I’m so thankful for you and your incredible team. Because of you, I’m able to participate in the World Village Festival this weekend and beyond! Your light shines so brightly in my life, and because of your belief in me, I’m learning to believe in myself. There have been moments when I was on the verge of giving up, but a single call or text from you completely changed my perspective. Trish, Andrea, Kenny, and the entire team, I love you all with all my heart. You are truly God-sent. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
